Hi! My name is Donna Russell. I was a classroom teacher with Blount County Schools for 16 years and served as a K-5 Math instructional coach for 7 years. I became the principal of Montvale in June of 2016. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from East Tennessee State University and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. I received my Instructional Leadership License from Bethel University. I am the proud mother of three children. Landon, 26, works at Denso as an electrical engineer. Talley, 23, is in pharmacy school at Lipscomb University and was recently married to her husband, Nolan. Garrett, 21, is currently in his junior year at the University of Tennessee. Along with my kids, I have a black lab/pointer mix named Chloe.
